When Zach Richardson joined the KHQA Team in 2021, it was like a family member coming home. Zach was a three-sport athlete--football, basketball and baseball--at Louisiana High School. As a standout player, he was often featured on KHQA Sports. In fact, when KHQA Sports Director Chris Duerr used to interview Zach during his high school playing days, Chris often joked with Zach that he would one day work for KHQA. Several years later, that prophetic statement came true.

After graduating with a communications degree from Truman State University, Zach started his broadcast career at KTVO in Kirksville, Mo., where he covered both sports and news. When he's not working, Zach loves watching sports and playing golf.
