Sarah joined the KHQA Team in June 2023. She recently graduated from NIU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology and a certificate in geographical information systems. In 2021, Sarah was on the executive board for NIU's student chapter of the American Meteorological Society; she was in charge of marketing. Throughout her time at NIU, she did multiple job shadows in cities such as Rockford and Milwaukee.

In her spare time, Sarah loves being outdoors and is a huge plant lover. She has grown blueberries, strawberries, and has a pineapple plant.
