Eliza Petry grew up on a grain production farm in Ogle County. She is a recent graduate from the University of Illinois, where she majored in agriculture leadership, education, and communications.

She currently travels the back roads of Illinois to gather information and stories from the farmers who make the ag industry grow.

In the summer of 2022, Eliza worked at the Illinois Farm Bureau as a video and radio intern where she assisted in all video productions and RFD segments.

Eliza was also highly involved in the FFA organization in high school and had the honor to serve as the Illinois FFA State Vice President from 2018-2019.
