QND installs Jack Cornell as new head football coach

A new era of Quincy Notre Dame Football is underway this morning.

Raider alum and former NFL Offensive Lineman Jack Cornell is Athletic Director Bill Connell's hand picked successor to helm the program. Connell resigned earlier this Winter after 26 years on the job, citing a desire to watch his children continue their college athletic careers.

Cornell has seen his fair share of Coaching Jobs since giving up the NFL Ghost after winning a Super Bowl Ring as part of the Baltimore Ravens practice squad.

Cornell most recently served as an Assistant on the Culver Stockton staff and enjoyed previous stints working with the Offensive Linemen at both Quincy University and QND. This will be his first head coaching job.

Chris Duerr will have much more on the new Raider Boss tonight at 6pm on the KHQA Evening News.
