HANNIBAL, Mo. (KHQA) — Thursday night Hannibal residents have the opportunity to eat, drink, and be tacky.
The Chamber of Commerce has teamed up with Ben Gentry, a Hannibal native turned cruise ship piano man, to celebrate the holiday season.
The event will be held at the Rialto Banquet Center where guests can expect fun surprises throughout the night, a surprise drink special, and of course the sing along show performed by Gentry.
According to Mckenzie Disselhorst, the executive director for the Hannibal Chamber of Commerce, they plan use the money raised to fund activities including the horse drawn carriage that comes to town for the holiday season.
“Those are things we can do a lot more of to make an impact in the community, and just make quality of life a little bit better for everyone when we have an extra budget for those things though the events that we do like this one," said Disselhorst.
Gentry, who is known for the entertainment he provides on cruise ships, looks forward to being able to assist in giving back to the community.
“Entertaining them and doing my show that I’ve crafted and perfected over the years. It's an awesome feeling too to still be humble and give back to where it all started from," said Gentry.
There are a few tickets left for the event so if you are interested reach out to the Hannibal Chamber of Commerce.
