Show and tell turned into a beefy surprise at a local school
QUINCY, IL —
Students typically bring items for show and tell in their back packs to school.
Wednesday, at St. Francis School, four-year-old Callie Longlett had a big surprise for her classmates.
She brought her cow and calf to the school.
Longlett lives on a farm and says it is important for people to know cows produce meat for us to eat.
"They help get you like meat and stuff and hot dogs and some beef," said Longlett.
She also spoke with her classmates on how she must take care of her animals.
