Classrooms look a lot different these days.

But the pandemic is not stopping local educators from touching the lives of thousands of students throughout the Tri-States.

In the last six years, KHQA and our sponsors, Continental Cement, Green America Recycling, Doors 'N More, and Peevler Real Estate have given out more than $60,000 to area teachers and schools as part of our One Class at a Time initiative.

With technology reshaping the future, Quincy Junior High teacher Dana Stafford plans to use the money to buy a 3D printer for his classroom.

He hopes to use the technology to keep his students engaged and excited about learning.

He was presented with the award while socially distancing during a ZOOM meeting.

Quincy Superintendent Roy Webb has no doubt that Stafford's students will enjoy creating new things in an already enjoyable class,

While Stafford's students are still remote learning during the COVID -19 pandemic, he says he's excited about using this grant money hopefully this coming fall.

Congratulations Mr. Stafford!
