WASHINGTON (Sinclair Broadcast Group) -- President Trump condemned North Korea's hydrogen bomb test on Sunday and warned that the country's actions were "very hostile and dangerous to the United States."

Mr. Trump also called on South Korea to change its strategy of diplomacy with their northern neighbor.

"Their talk of appeasement with North Korea will not work," Trump said. "They only understand one thing."

Trump's tweets come after North Korea declared their nuclear test as a "perfect success." The test reportedly shook buildings in China and Russia leading to an artificial earthquake that was stronger than previous nuclear tests done by the country.

The U.S. Geological Survey measured the artificial earthquake at 6.3 magnitude while officials in Seoul measured it at 5.7 magnitude.

On Wednesday, President Trump said "talking is not the answer" as he refered to attempts at peace between the United States and North Korea that have occured for over 25 years.

Trump's tweet on Wednesday came after North Korea fired a missile that flew over Japan.
