Wondrous: A Quincy Music Story planned Sept. 2 at Quincy Jr. High School

Quincy music supporters will present a live documentary titled, "Wondrous: A Quincy Music Story" at 7 p.m. on Sunday, September 2 at Quincy Junior High School.
The fundraising event for music education will feature many diverse musical groups enthusiastically supported by the Quincy community including Dixieland to Early Music to German Band, Brass Ensembles, Barbershop and the newly formed Quincy Legacy Orchestra under the direction of Pam Potter.
The performance also will serve as an alumni reunion with performances by the Quincy Senior High School Show Choir and Marching Blue Devils.

Special tributes will be given to the late musicologist and long-time Quincy University Music Professor Dr. Lavern Wagner and QHS choral director and percussionist Dan Sherman.
Admission for adults is $20, seniors 65 and over $15 and students 18 and under are admitted free.
All proceeds will benefit the Quincy Public Schools Foundation Circles of Investment in the names of Dr. Lavern and Mrs. Joan Wagner and Mr. Dan and Mrs. Pam Sherman.
