USPS delivers letters to Santa

More than a million kids across the country drop letters to Santa in their mailbox.

And that means a lot of stamps and a lot wishes from good boys and girls everywhere.

According to CNN, only French and Canadian children surpass US boys and girls when writing Santa.

We checked in with the U.S. Postal Service in Quincy to find out how it handles this mass mailing.

"We have Santa's helpers that we get those letters to and then they make sure they get to Santa and he tries to respond to all of them," says Quincy U.S.P.S. Postmaster Bill Reitz.

Here's an interesting fact you might not realize - Canada has its very own zip code for letters mailed to Santa and his elves.
