Two Plymouth women arrested on warrants; police find meth, firearm
On January 18th beginning at 3:18 p.m., Hancock County Sheriff's Office obtained and served two search warrants at 105 E Marion Street in Plymouth, Hancock County, Illinois.
Keesha L. Tu, 29 from Plymouth, was located and arrested on a warrant from the State of Iowa for Escape.
Daphne K. Akers, 39 from Plymouth, was located and arrested on a warrant from the State of Iowa for Probation Violation.
As a result of a search inside the residence, methamphetamine, a firearm and firearm ammunition were located. Daphne Akers was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Unlawful Use or Possession of Weapons by Felons.
Akers is being held at the Hancock County Jail pending a bond hearing. Tu is being held at Hancock County Jail pending an extradition hearing.
