Quincy-based State Senator Jil Tracy is now one of five republicans who will serve on the newly created Senate Task Force on Sexual Discrimination and Harassment Awareness and Prevention.

The goal of the group is to review the legal and social consequences of sexual discrimination and harassment in both public and private sectors.

"I think we as legislators have to take the high road and be leaders on this, and set oursevles up as a role model for others to emulate as how to get rid of this harrassment situation," stated Tracy.

This issue is currently making headlines across the nation with accusations springing up against politicians and many in Hollywood.
