Spirit of the Tri-States: Quincy dancers prepare for Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

This Spirit of the Tri-States report brought to you by Continental Cement and Green America Recycling takes you to a local dance studio preparing for Thanksgiving.

You might see three area dancers when you watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade next week.

They're with the Vancil Performing Arts Center in Quincy.

They've spent the last several weeks rehearsing for the annual festivity.

"It's stressful, but at the same time, it's also very exciting to have this experience," Dancer Anna Gable said.
"Just being in a small town and being able to have the experience of going to New York and doing such a big event like this," Dancer Victoria Webster said. "It's really exciting."

The dancers leave Saturday for the Big Apple where they will rehearse more for the big day.
