Sod Buster Classic continues to help local families/organizations in need

    11th Annual Sod Buster Classic

The Sod Buster Classic is a traveling putt-putt golf fundraiser and tournament.

Teams of four will travel to nine of eleven handmade golf holes throughout the day.

All money raised will go to families in need and organizations in the Quincy/Mendon/Ursa area.

"It could be somebody who is sick, who has cancer or some type of other illness, somebody who maybe had a house fire, or somebody who was sick and maybe passed away, sometimes we give money to those families. The really gratifying part is actually seeing the people when you give them that money because they need it," said Erin Frazier, committee member of the Sod Buster Classic.

To date, the Sod Buster Classic has put over $221,000 back into the community.
