Ralls County 911 Board rescinds September resolution

The Ralls County 911 Board of Directors rescinded a September resolution that outlined action the agency would take regarding the sharing of information with law enforcement agencies.

The board also addressed implementation of a new Computer Aided Dispatching (CAD) system.

According to a news release from the Ralls County 911 board,

"Recent discussions held with representatives from the Missouri Highway Patrol concerning hardware and software needed to share the information from the Criminal Justice Information System electronically has shown that all parties are in compliance with those needs and this information can be shared in a confidential manner."

Those discussions, the news release stated, will alleviate concerns about confidential information ending up in the wrong hands.

The board plans to hold additional meetings to identify needs of everyone involved and work to identify possible solutions to correct any deficiencies between need and what a new CAD system can deliver.
