Quincy University will kick off its homecoming this week with a time honored tradition - the painting of Penny Lane.
Student organizations will paint squares on the campus' main sidewalk and then celebrate with a BBQ.
KHQA spoke with QU's Director of Development about what the festivities mean for students and alumni.
"I think homecoming is just a great way for students, faculty and staff to join together with our Alumni and community members to really showcase Quincy University and all that it has to offer both past, present, and future," said Matt Bergman, QU Director of Development.
Here's what you can expect next -- QU will host its third annual Balloon Glow event.
That's where ten hot air balloons will light up Fryers Field.
