Quincy Fire Department responds to business sign fully engulfed in flames

Sunday night, the Quincy Fire Department was called to 44th and Broadway in Quincy to a report of a sign on fire.

According to QFD, there was about 5 to 10 minutes of fire and smoke before they arrived on scene.

The Maya Mexican Restaurant sign was full engulfed.

No injuries were reported.

QFD tells KHQA they assume the fire is electrical.

Ameren and the business owner were on their way to the scene when KHQA was on scene.
