QND students, chaperones attend March for Life in Washington, D.C.
Quincy Notre Dame had 25 students and nine chaperones attend the 46th Annual March for Life in Washington, D.C., on January 18th.
They were among more than 300,000 others who joined for a rally and the March for Life, the largest pro-life event in the world.
“It was truly amazing to see God working through the hundreds of thousands of people he sent to march for the 60 million people who never got a chance at life,” said QND junior Bella Gengenbacher.
“It was truly an eye-opening experience, to see thousands of people gathered in the capital to stand up for what we believe in,” stated QND junior Hailey Skinner.
While in D.C. the group also had the opportunity to meet with Congressman Darin LaHood, tour the Capitol Building, visit the National Holocaust Museum, celebrate Mass with Bishop Thomas John Paprocki and other delegations from our diocese, watch the Changing of the Guard at Arlington National Cemetery, have a night tour of various major monuments and participate in the National Students for Life of America conference.
