QJHS athletic packets available for pick up
QUINCY, IL —
Maine Street in front of the Quincy Junior High School is currently under construction and shut down to traffic.
Summer school classes, dance recitals, parking for residents and everyday traffic has been affected by the much needed complete overhaul of that section of Maine Street.
However, you can still get your child signed up for sports at QJHS.
A press release sent out by Quincy Public Schools stated:
All Quincy Junior High School families with students in need of QJHS athletic packets for softball, baseball, cross country, and/or football, can pick up packets at the Board of Education Office (1416 Maine St.) OR the Quincy High School Athletic Office (3322 Maine St.). Public access to QJHS is limited during the summer building updates and construction projects. Completed packets can be returned to the Board of Education or QHS Athletic Office. Please contact Ashley Witte at QJHS: (217) 222-3073 with any additional questions or concerns related to the above mentioned athletic packets.
Construction on Maine Street is scheduled to be finished in August before the start of the new school year.
