SHELBY COUNTY, Mo. — Voters in the South Shelby and Macon School Districts have decided the fate of South Shelby’s boundaries during the Primary Election on Tuesday.
The measure, called Proposition 1, asked residents if they were ‘for’ or ‘against’ redefining Shelby County's western border.
Unofficial results are reported as:
Shelby County - 80% No / Macon County - 60% No
Shelby County border will remain the same.
The vote followed a passed ballot measure last April that consolidated Shelbina and Clarence Elementary Schools.
