'Preserving Our Historic Treasures' kicks off this week
The Historical Society of Quincy and Adams County is kicking off its 2018 capital campaign, Preserving Our Historic Treasures, Friday, April 20th 5 to 8 p.m.
The event will be held at the History Museum, 332 Maine Street.
At the campaign kickoff, attendees will be able to view a special, one-night only exhibit while they enjoy refreshments and hors d’oeuvres. The event is free and open to the public.
The society possesses many treasures, including but not limited to the Governor John Wood Mansion and the History Museum, and wants to maintain them to the best of its ability so that the current and future generations of Quincy and the surrounding area can continue to learn about their past.
The society asks that the public considers supporting its local historical society.
