Paris, MO Dollar General damaged by fire

A local Dollar General has been heavily damaged by fire.

According to the Hannibal Courier Post, the Dollar General store in Paris, Missouri caught fire early Sunday morning.

An Assistant Manager with the store tells the Courier Post she was awakened at 2:45 in the morning by the store's alarm company.

She quickly rushed to the store, and saw flames coming from the front.

It took firefighters a couple of hours to make sure the fire was out.
