Officials keep a close eye on Midwest Academy

Since students are no longer at the school, the academy took a van full of food to a local pantry.

Pastor Sylvia Tillman of God's Way Christian Soup and Kitchen Shelter said the academy delivered the food earlier this week.

She explained a staff member dropped off food including banana bread, cereal and canned goods.

Meanwhile, Ben Trane is in charge of the school.

He told KHQA he would next hold a press conference on Wednesday to address what happened.

However, Trane later cancelled and rescheduled for Thursday but the press conference didn't take place.

KHQA reached out to Trane.

A staff member responded with "no comment at this time".

Be sure to stay with KHQA for the latest updates on Midwest Academy.
