It was a night of celebration for two leaders in the local agriculture industry, Tuesday night.

Doyle Equipment Manufacturing and Barry Eidson was honored at the First Bankers Trust Ag Banquet, organized by the Quincy Chamber of Commerce.

Doyle Manufacturing was honored as the "Agribusiness of the year."

Eidson was honored as the "Larry Fischer Ag Educator of the Year."

"It's an amazing feeling, honestly our family feels very blessed because we are a family owned and operated company and you don't see that a lot," Catie Doyle said.
"Well since it's named after Larry Fischer, he was at John Wood as an instructor when I first started teaching, so we've had contact for 35, 36 years and to be honored with him really meant something," Barry Eidson said.

Doyle Manufacturing will complete a large expansion to its business this summer.

Eidson is enjoying retirement from the Payson-Seymor School District.
