UPDATE: Late night house fire in Quincy

KHQA has confirmed with the Quincy Fire Department that the fire that displaced two families late Wednesday night has been ruled incendiary in nature.

The apartment at 927 N. 4th Street was unoccupied with no power.

Other apartments in the building were occupied.

Families living in those apartments were displaced due to smoke and water damage.

The Quincy Police Department is now in charge of the investigation.

An investigation is now underway of an late night house fire in Quincy..

There is damage to both the upper and lower floors in the building at 927 N. 4th Street.

The call came in around 9:49 pm Wednesday night of a vacant apartment building on fire.

The Quincy Fire Department said more information would be released Thursday morning.
