A pair of Keokuk individuals have been arrested and charged with Insurance Fraud.
David Palmisano Jr, 36, and Heather Palmisano, 34, were charged with Fraudulent Submissions, a Class D felony, following an investigation by the Iowa Insurance Division's (IID) Fraud Bureau.
These charges come from an investigation that started in 2018. The IID reports that it is alleged the Palmisano's submitted an insurance claim that was fraudulent and they sought reimbursement through the policy.
David was arrested last Friday and Heather was arrested on Saturday. Both were booked into the Lee County Jail.
