Illinois and Missouri plan infrastructure improvements

Both Illinois and Missouri announced plans to rebuild and repair key pieces of infrastructure in both states on Wednesday.

Illinois's infrastructure development comes from the announcement that the USDA would be investing $181 million to improve infrastructure and other projects across 27 states.

Illinois received $24 million in federal finding to help repair water infrastructure in central Illinois.

Missouri received $541,000 in loans along with $193,675 in grants from the USDA.

The recipients in Missouri include the City of Perry Community Organization, East Prairie Municipal Corporation, Macon County Economic Development Inc., Steele Municipal Improvement Corporation, Stoddard County Development Corporation, Wyatt Community Development Corporation, and York Township Association.
