Hannibal man pleads guilty, sentenced for January shooting

    A Hannibal man faced sentencing Tuesday after pleading guilty to charges from a January 4, 2019 shooting in Hannibal.

    Lamarr Minor, 41 from Hannibal, was arrested in January in the case of a non-fatal shooting in the area of Maple and Church Streets.

    Minor pled guilty to three separate charges of Assault - 2nd Degree, Armed Criminal Action, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. Each charge came with a length of five years for a total of 15 years to be served consecutively.

    To the point of the sentencing, Minor had been held in the Marion County Jail on a $100,000 cash-only bond.
