Two Hannibal homes are now destroyed after an early Sunday morning fire.

The Hannibal Fire Department says a homeowner woke up to his smoke detector about 3:30 in the morning at a home in the 1100 block of Valley Street.

The homeowner called the fire department.

Two homes eventually burned, and another had damage.

Two of the homes weren't occupied.

KHQA's Marcus Espinosa is on scene, and will have more on KHQA News tonight at 10:00.
