Funding reduced 50% for sexual trauma centers

Leaders of trauma centers hosted a round table discussion Monday on how all state offices will have to reduce services for victims. According to the Illinois Coalition Against Sexual Assault (ICASA), the federal government is cutting back on funds from the Victims of Crimes Act (VOCA) by 50% to the 31 sexual trauma centers in Illinois.
