Today: Free clothing available for Tri-State veterans

On Monday, November 12th, free clothing will be given away to any veteran who wish to take advantage of the offer.

The clothing is gently used and has been collected from individuals throughout the Tri-State area.

Clothing includes a variety of formal and casual wear with a focus on fall and winter needs.

Some footwear will be available.

The event will be held at the Quincy Senior Center located at 639 York Street from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Everything is on a first come, first serve basis.

The event is sponsored by veterans under the name of The Virgene Project, an organization that has been holding these activities for over ten years.

DD214 or Veterans' Affairs card required.
