EXCLUSIVE: Academic Political Expert analyzes Presidential address
President Donald Trump addressed the nation Tuesday night on what he calls "the "Humanitarian and National Security crisis on our Southern Border."

Meanwhile, KHQA's David Amelotti spoke with another political expert Tuesday who said the President's speech may not have much of an impact as one might think.
"Donald Trump has decided not to declare a state of emergency," Political Expert Dr. Justin Coffey explained Tuesday. "But he has asked for $5 billion dollars for the wall and additional resources. His problem is the democrats control the house so tomorrow morning really nothing will have changed."
President Trump blamed Democrats for the 18 day government shutdown. He said it's their fault for not funding border security.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is asking the President to re-open the government so both sides can work to resolve their differences over border security.
Many governmental agencies are closed for the third week, and thousands of workers will be missing their first paycheck this week
