UPDATE: Juvenile involved in Hancock County shooting appears in court
UPDATED Jan. 2nd at 2:50 p.m.
The juvenile male appeared in a Hancock County Courtroom Tuesday afternoon.
He was charged with 3 counts of 1st Degree Murder and 1 count of Aggravated Battery.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Jan. 23rd.
During this hearing, it will be determined if the juvenile will be tried as an adult.
He has been granted no bail.
A juvenile male is now in custody for his connection to a shooting in Hancock County Monday.
According to a release from Hancock County State's Attorney Jason Pohren, a 17-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of 19-year-old Madison Finch of Laharpe.
The juvenile will make his first appearance at the Hancock County Courthouse in at 2 Tuesday afternoon.
Pohren states the State's Attorney's Office has filed various charges against the suspect and intend to have the matter transferred to criminal court.
KHQA has confirmed there is a death investigation underway in LaHarpe, IL at this time.

The incident happened at the corner of Conch Drive and Terre Haute Road.
KHQA does have calls out to Illinois State Police. We have been told more information will be released this afternoon.
