County teachers come together for conference
QUINCY, Il. —
More than 1,400 Adams County teachers gathered Thursday for the annual Quincy Teaching Conference at Quincy High School.
The two-day event runs October 5th and 6th.
The conference gives county teachers the opportunity to share and learn different methods of teaching.
Teachers have the opportunity to hear from guest speakers across the United States.
Quincy Public Schools Superintendent Roy Webb discusses what teachers can take away from the annual conference.
"They can get ideas for the classroom. They can get rejuvenated. They can get motivated and have a chance to reflect on what they're doing in the classroom. It's a great two days for educators," said Webb.
The 'Quincy Conference' is in its third year since coming back from a 14-year hiatus.
