Congressman Loebsack pays visit to Keokuk
Congressman Dave Loebsack was in Keokuk this afternoon to meet with Mayor Tom Richardson and City Administrator Cole O'Donnell to discuss the update on the City Hall fire and what the next steps are in the process for the town. He also got a first hand look at the damage that was caused by the fire. He's been impressed with the community support and is hopeful the new city hall will be an upgrade for the city of Keokuk.
"You know maybe some really good things are going to come out of this. The new city hall, where ever it is, whether it is in the exsisting building or in a new structure is going to be better in many ways and probably ever serve the community better as well," says Congressman Loebsack.
He tries to visit each of his counties in his district as much as he possibly can.
