Louisiana, Missouri — A body was found in the Mississippi River near Louisiana, Missouri Tuesday afternoon.
Trooper Dallas Thompson with the Missouri State Highway Patrol said he's 99 percent sure it's Earl Fogle, 54, of Saverton.
The commercial fisherman hasn't been seen since March.
Thompson said the clothing on the body matched the description of the clothing Fogle was wearing at the time.
However, DNA testing would be needed to confirm the identity with absolute certainty.
Pike County Chief Deputy Josh Baker said the body was found south of the city's riverfront.
Crews started searching for two commercial fishermen who failed to return home last March.
The body of David Hultz, 51, of Quincy, has been recovered.
However, crews have been searching for Fogle ever since the two men's disappearance.
KHQA will bring you more details as they become available.
