Just before 5 o'clock Wednesday morning, fire officials told KHQA they responded to a barn fire at County Road, 1800 North in Clayton Illinois.
Central Adams Fire Department, Adams County EMS, Golden Fire Department, Clayton Fire Department and Camp Point were all on scene.
The barn was heavily damaged including several tractors that were inside the structure.
Fire Chief of Clayton Fire Protection District, Sam Miller says, at this time the cause of the fire is still unknown and as of 7:30 Wednesday morning, departments remain on scene.
Chief Miller also tells KHQA that a passerby saw the flames and reported the fire to officials.
The shed was used for machinery storage and there were no animals inside.
No one was hurt.
