Bardolph, IL man arrested after fighting with EMS paramedics
McDonough County Sheriff Nick Petitgout reports the arrest of a Bardolph, Illinois man.
On Monday evening, a Sheriff's Deputy responded to Bardolph to assist Lifeguard Ambulance for a patient who was combative with EMS staff.
Grant J. Taylor, 38, was found by EMS unconscious in a ditch along the roadway.
Taylor was placed into the ambulance and appeared to be under the influence of narcotics.
While receiving treatment, Taylor began to fight with paramedics and injured one of them.
Taylor was charged with Aggravated Battery. In Illinois, it is a felony to batter emergency medical personnel.
Taylor paid $2,000 to bond out of the McDonough County Jail.
