$6M district renovation in Macomb

An Illinois School District is about to receive some major upgrades.

The Macomb School District is making $6 million worth of renovations.

The first project aims to expand Edison Elementary School by adding six classrooms and a larger cafeteria.

The second project will renovate the science labs and honors writing lab in Macomb High School.

The last renovation will create a multi-purpose turf field.

The school's superintendent says the bonds will be issued as early as May.
