12 years in prison for the man who caused lockdown at Blessing Hospital
A Quincy man is headed to prison for 12 years after pleading guilty to an incident that caused a lock-down at Blessing Hospital last February.
WTAD reports Robert Sparks pleaded guilty, but mentally ill to counts of Aggravated Domestic Battery and Aggravated DUI.
As part of a settlement with prosecutors, some other charges were dropped.
Sparks admitted to battering a woman last February on 22nd Street, and was involved in a lock down of Blessing Hospital.
He was eventually arrested in a parking lot at Knapheide Manufacturing.
