Tri-State event takes you back to the 1800's

Nauvoo Pageant, July 10th through August 4th.

Have you ever wondered what it was like living back in the 1800s?

The Nauvoo and British Pageants allows you to do just that.

The 20-day performance reenacts the history of what happened back in 1840.

Festivities at the County Fair also allow you to experience games and activities typical to the 19th century.

"The pioneers that came here were our ancestors so we come back here to honor them by remembering them. This is more to do with remembering and honoring and those that came before," said Greg Davies with the pageant.

Until August 4th, the County Fair festivities are every Tuesday through Saturday form 7 to 8:30 p.m. and the pageants start right after at 8:30 p.m.

The Nauvoo Pageant runs every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday night.

The British Pageant showings are every Wednesday and Friday night.

Everything is free besides food and drink.
