QUINCY, Ill. (KHQA) — Terrapin Farms announced the cancelation of its Fall Festival.
For 15 years the farm has been a staple in the Gem City.
This year, like every year, it will have some produce available to locals.
As the farm transitions to the fall, it has pumpkins, gourds, and other fall items.
This year, one of the farm's annual traditions will not be held.
"Our fall festival of course with regards to COVID-19 and what's happening in our world today we're unable to have that fall festival. But we certainly still encourage people to just wonder," said Terrapin Farms Employee Sarah Cantrell.
Terrapin Farms is open Monday through Saturday 9 a.m. To 6 p.m..
The farm is open from the very first Monday of May.
Weather permitting, it closes just in time for winter on Oct. 31.
