The Democratic National Committee recently barred cable news network Fox News from hosting any of the Democratic primary debates leading up to the 2020 presidential election.

In a statement to the Washington Post, DNC chairman Tom Perez announced the move and stated that he believes a “Key pathway to victory is to continue to expand our electorate and reach all voters.”

So naturally, they exclude a media outlet because of some perceived proximity to a president who they’ve decided “does not care about the American people,” makes sense, right? Wrong.

This is another blunder by Chairman Perez whose vitriol towards Republicans is only matched by his total lack of political acumen.

It is also interesting to remember that former CNN employee and Democratic operative Donna Brazile leaked questions to the Clinton 2016 campaign before a nationally televised debate and a town hall.

Here’s the bottom line: To the DNC I ask this question: if you believe in the ludicrous narrative that President Trump is wrong for our country, then why aren’t you appealing directly to the people who you claim hang on his every word?

This move exposes the apathy among establishment Democrats that is truly baffling, yet humorous to me as someone who deeply opposes their efforts.
