Community Cancer Crush founder named KHQA Hometown Hero recipient
Community Cancer Crush Founder Luke Tappe was awarded the KHQA Hometown Heroes Award Friday night at the Cancer Crush in Quincy.
KHQA's David Amelotti presented him with the hometown heroes award live on KHQA News from The Ambiance.
"This means a lot to me. It really means a lot. I grew up wanting to be a superhero. Now it looks like I'm a Hometown Hero," Tappe told the crowd at the Ambiance.
We want to thank our sponsors hilbing autobody and Peters heating and air conditioning for making this series possible.
If you know someone who should be recognized as a KHQA hometown hero in your community, nominate them now on KHQA.com under the spotlight tab.
