DECISION TIME: JORDAN FRERICKS OPTS FOR MIZZOU
She is one of the most unique and decorated basketball talents ever to come out of the Gem City.
And this time next year, Jordan Frericks will be a Missouri Tiger.
The QND All Stater and reigning KHQA Player of the Year has given a verbal pledge to Tiger Coach Robin Pingeton, choosing Mizzou over a host of other Division One suitors that included DePaul, Illinois, Wisconsin-Green Bay and others.
Frericks averaged 16 points and 8 rebounds per game for the two-time State Champion Lady Raiders. Along the way, Jordan finished sixth in voting for Miss Illinois, earned First Team All State Accord, and raked in a host of Player of the Year accolades from different media sources around the state of Illinois.
"I think a major factor was that my family can come to a majority of the games," Jordan told KHQA "And I really liked that atmosphere the coaches and the players created for me...the concentrated on me as a total person."
