The Cornhuskers Come Courting....

The University of Nebraska went all in on a couple of the Tri State's most luminous Athletic Talents.

Holy Trinity Super Sophomore Mikaela Foecke, an All State selection her first two years, isn't wasting any time in the recruiting process.

The 6'3" Middle Hitter pledged today, two years early, to the University of Nebraska.

Foecke led the entire state of Iowa last season with 624 kills, one of only two players in the Hawkeye state to to top the 600 mark, and averaged nearly 5 and half kills every set. She also 61 aces on the season.

The Cornhuskers were also one of two football teams to join the growing Blake Hance Derby.

Both Nebraska and Mississippi State extended offers today to the gifted Jacksonville Tight End becoming the 11th and 12th Division One Schools to offer the Crimson senior.

Hance is already weighing overatures from the likes of North Carolina State, Illinois, Purdue, and Mizzou to name a few.
