Right on Q: Keokuk Football pulls off a coup in hiring Quentin Hamner
It's official: Keokuk has hired Clark Country native and alum Quentin Hamner as its next head football coach.
The school has already called an introductory press conference for 10 am Friday to formally unveil their new grid boss.
The Hamner hire would seem to be a major coup for Athletic Director Zach Summers....
Quentin is currently the defensive coordinator at Northwest Missouri Class 5 powerhouse Staley, having led the Falcons to a 2017 state title while surrendering just 15.6 points per game.
He's worked for both Phil Lite and Fred Bouchard and cut his teeth leading as Defensive Coordinator to Matt Smith leading Clark County to a state title in 2008.
