Culver-Stockton's push in recruiting the local soccer landscape continues to yield homegrown recruiting finds. The newest Lady Wildcat to join the fold is a proven winner in Quincy Notre Dame's Abby Grawe, who seems to be really coming into her own in her senior season at 10th and Jackson.
"Coach Longo definitely helped me along the way. Going from freshman year to senior year I've definitely improved and I think that's helped a lot. I just really like the soccer team over there and I just felt comfortable every time I went there, and ultimately, I think that it's the best choice for me,"
"Versatility is very important at the college level, so at this point, I feel I can put Abby in at any position and she'll be successful there. She has a lot of intangibles like her work rate, high soccer IQ - the things that you can't always coach,"
"I think there will be a lot of things I have to work on in college, but with Coach Tomlinson and all of the team, they'll help me with it. I'm really excited to meet the team and meet new people, and I'm just thrilled to learn new things about soccer and coaching and everything else,"
