A Pleasant Hill High School student is once again a gold medal winner ... this time in the Special Olympics Illinois.
Erin Hart competed in short and long program events in Romeoville, Ill. this week, according to her mother Kathy Hart.
Hart has now been named the Illinois State Special Olympics Ladies Figure Skating Level 4 Champion.
You'll remember that Hart competed in figure skating during the Special Olympics World Winter Games in South Korea where she won a gold medal for Level 2 Ladies Figure Skating.
Hart has autism and skated as a young child now and then. She began to pursue figure skating in September of 2011, according to her mother Kathy.
She began competing in Special Olympics in 2012.
