A New Direction: Summers trades success at Knox County for a new challenge in Keokuk

Zach Summers has ended his successful coaching run in Edina to move closer to home and helm the Activities Department at Keokuk High School

During his very successful coaching stint at the helm of Knox County Boys Basketball, Zach Summers was famous for putting together intricately detailed, college-style press releases previewing all of his team's games.

That hobby will serve him well in his next job incarnation.

Summers was introduced last night as the new Activities Director at Keokuk High School; turning the page on his coaching career for now in an opportunity he sees as win/win for his family.

Still, this wasn't easy to walk away from all the Roundball good he and his charges created in Edina.
